‘Raising strong after a fall is how we cultivate wholeheartedness in our lives; it's the process that teaches us the most about who we are.'
I promise that you may not be able to see it now, but one day you will look back on the pain you've endured and you will thank God for all the lessons it has taught you. Talk about becoming humbled... boy, did God humble me. Even though I had my whole life planned out I have learned that life is so much easier when we submit our life to God and let him lead the way. I remember saying, "Hey, God I got this... don't really need your help." And in the end all of my 'plans' came crashing down. Life sure has a funny way of working out.
Here is the good news. The circumstances change and the grace of God never wavers. Just let the good news of His words wash over you. I can't begin to tell you how many times I was suffering and just needed a tad bit of hope. Diving into my bible helped to show me Gods promises for my life. Fear whispers, "You can't do this because you're too weak, hurt or broken." Faith screams, "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me!" (Philippians 4:13). "All things are possible with God!" (Matthew 19:26)
So, wherever you are and whatever you are facing, know this: YOU. ARE. LOVED.
Never forget in the dark what God told you in the light.
And always, be the light.
